WARNING - Salespeople Posing as Oakville Hydro Employees
Recently in Oakville, people have been going door-to-door posing as Oakville Hydro employees and informing customers that they need to check their water heaters. They then explain that the water heater needs to be changed “on behalf of Oakville Hydro.”
These salespeople are not from Oakville Hydro Electricity Distribution Inc. or Oakville Hydro Energy Services Inc. They are not employees of either company and are misrepresenting themselves as such.
If someone comes to your home saying that they are from Oakville Hydro and need to check your water heater, please use extreme caution.
